Mark Vance is a specialist entertainer who seeks to blend entertainment and education through accurate and dynamic portrayals of historic characters.

He has over 15 years experience running his own Medieval Society, managing and presenting large scale re-enactment events for the likes of English Heritage, Blenheim Palace, CADW, Warwick and Nottingham Castles as well as working on numerous TV documentaries.

Having fully trained in stage combat with the BADC (British Academy of Dramatic Combat) and holding their Advanced Certificate ~ with recommendation, he started his own Company in 1996 providing Period stage fights for special events and banquet entertainment. With a growing reputation for providing comprehensively researched, well-crafted and professional entertainment, he has continued to further develop the range of the portrayals he can provide, a selection of which can be found here.

As an adaptable performer though he is keen to take on commissions for new and challenging historical roles.
